Turkka Mali is a Finnish musician and songwriter. Among his songs are "The Letter" (recorded by Janne Hurme), "An Old Dance" (Reijo Taipale), "One Country Only" (Arja Havakka), "Under the North Star" (Petri Laaksonen) and "La Dolce Vita "(Anneli Saaristo).
Turkka Mali worked as a music teacher in 1980s and started working for Fazer Musiikki in 1990's. Since then, he has become a full-time vocalist and freelancer and has made over 2,500 concerts.
Since 1978 Mali has been recording with his younger brother Mika as duo "Mika and Turkka Mali". The recordings include, for example, several albums of Vladimir Vysotski's music in Finnish.
